Summary
Provides support to the Accounting Department, including but not limited to processing Accounts Payable, performing reconciliations, maintaining records and other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform daily start of day and end of day process.

Transmit daily pledging file.

Reconcile and monitor various accounts.

Reconcile correspondent bank accounts.

Communicate with other departments to clear outstanding items on applicable reconciliations.

Process A/P and perform all related activity accurately in compliance with GAAP. Includes setup of new vendors, obtaining proper support and approvals, communicating with vendors.

Process all internal Credit Card activity.

Enter and update prepaids in prepaid system.

Generates payment reminders for local bonds.

Record principal and interest payments.

Download and save monthly files.

Maintains daily rate reporting and weekly Canadian rates.

Check GL balancing report.

Record correspondent bank interest.

ICS and CDARS journal entries and file updating.

ICS and CDARS wires.

Deposit account changes reports.

Postage monitoring, funding and entries.

Monitor and Fund direct payment account.

Annual 1099 reporting for A/P vendors.

Maintain accounting files, including timely filing.

Maintain department supplies.

Assists with annual records retention process.

Research GL and account activity as needed.

Generate and distribute daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Supports other department personnel as needed.

Assumes additional duties as requested.

Summary
Assists with the supervision of assigned branch personnel. Assists with management of the branch office. Ability to professionally explore customer's needs to properly offer the appropriate account(s) and service(s) to best serve the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with management of the assigned branch office. Act as office manager during his or her absence. Monitor staff attendance and punctuality. Assist manager with evaluation of staff performance. Assist staff with more complex phases of branch operations to include any customer complaints.

Accept applications for credit from potential clients for consumer installment loans; assist with closing consumer loans.

Effectively communicate any issues with Branch Manager.

Assist in oversight of branch operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Assist Branch Manager with sales activities in order to meet established sales goals.

Supervise staff to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of goals and objectives for sales and growth programs.

Assist with training and cross-training of current and new personnel.

Act as Teller, Vault Teller or Customer Service Representative as needed.

Participate in community relations, bank promotions and business development calls as requested by Branch Manager.

Monitor aged overdrafts through Privilege Manager and Laser Vault for follow up calls on checking accounts, and handling and cleanup of savings account overdrafts.

Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal legal requirements that apply to the types of loans authorized to originate through successful completion of periodic training.

Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Travel to and from various branch locations to assist with staffing coverage may be required occasionally to meet business needs.

Follow policies and procedures.

Receives deposits for, and pays withdrawals from, savings accounts of customers with proper identification and documents.

Receives deposits for, and cashes checks from, customer checking and money market accounts, following the cash out procedure.

Support branch operations by assisting customers with standard and non-standard teller transactions and assisting with new account opening procedures and account maintenance, as requested.

All Branch staff are expected to always conduct themselves professionally and ethically.

Processes requests for money orders and cashier's checks.

Redeems US Savings Bonds and process loan payments.

Process Canadian foreign exchange transactions to include processing checks through Key Bank.

Introduces new services to customers in an attempt to build customer relationships.

Maintain balancing records within the Teller Difference Policy and Procedures.

Assist customers with questions pertaining to their relationships with the Bank.

Assist customers by verifying balances, receiving change of address requests or updating their CIF (Customer Information File) records or closing accounts, as requested.

Allow customers access to safe deposit boxes, following the specified procedures.
