E-Sign Consent Agreement

Federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act Disclosure

We are required by law to give you certain information “in writing”. With your prior consent, we may provide this information and other documents (communications) to you electronically. We also need your general consent to use electronic records and signatures for transactions related to your account or application for credit at Champlain National Bank.

Please read the following information carefully and keep a copy for your records. By selecting the “I agree to all terms and conditions” you are consenting to transact business using electronic communications and to utilize electronic signatures in lieu of using paper documents. You are not required to receive notices and disclosures or sign documents electronically. You may request to receive paper copies and/or withdraw your consent at any time at no cost to you.

By accepting this E-Sign Consent, any communications may, at our option, be sent to you electronically and may be executed using electronic signatures. Your consent applies to all communications we may provide with respect to your account or application for credit at Champlain National Bank, unless and until you withdraw your consent as described below. We may always, in our sole discretion, provide you with any communication on paper, even if you have chosen to receive it electronically.

Scope of Consent

You agree to receive electronic notices, disclosures, and electronic signature documents with all related and identified documents and disclosures provided over the course of your relationship with Champlain National Bank.

System Requirements to Access Information

In order to access, review and retain electronic communications, you must have an active email address. It will be your responsibility to notify us if you change that email address in the future. You must have the following equipment and software:

A personal computer or other device that is capable of accessing the Internet.

An Internet web browser capable of supporting 128-bit encryption. You should use the current or prior major releases of Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge. Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari. These browsers support secure transactions over the Internet using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

You will need a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to display PDF files. You can find a free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com.

If hardware or software requirements change, and that change would create a material risk that you would not be able to access or retain documents or communications, we will provide you notice of the new requirements.

Updating Your Records

You must provide us with an active e-mail address. In order to effectively communicate with you, you must notify us promptly if you change your e-mail address by contacting us using the contact methods described below.

Paper Copies

You may download and/or print any documents we send you. You agree that we do not need to provide you with paper (non-electronic) copies of the notices and disclosures unless you specifically request them.

Withdrawal of Electronic Acceptance of Disclosures and Notice

You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic communications at any time. To inform us that you no longer wish to receive electronic communications please contact us using the contact methods described below. Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic statements will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal.
