Secure Online Shopping
In an effort to make your Internet purchases with your Debit MasterCard® more secure, Champlain National Bank and MasterCard are now offering MasterCard® Secure Code™. It allows you to establish your own personal code that will be used when you make online purchases with your Debit MasterCard®. MasterCard® Secure Code™ gives you added protection against unauthorized use of your card. Next time you shop online at a participating merchant, a window from Champlain National Bank will appear asking you to confirm your identity and to set up your own private Secure Code™. Changing Your PIN
Your card - your way! You can select your own Personal Identification Number (PIN), for your Champlain 24 ATM Card or MasterCard® Debit Card. You may change your existing PIN to any four-digit number of YOUR choice at any Champlain National Bank ATM.

Secure & Simple
Your transaction can be processed as though you were using a credit card and your signature is required. When a transaction is processed as though you are using an ATM card, you will be requested to enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number). Both processing methods ensure that your transaction is secure!  When you make a purchase using the Champlain National Bank Debit MasterCard®, simply keep the receipt and enter the amount and place of purchase in your checkbook register. Treat it just as if you were writing a check or making an ATM withdrawal. Because you receive a detailed monthly account statement showing each debit card transaction, your checkbook is simple to balance.

Account Access
For ATM transactions you will be able to access the checking and/or savings account you designate on your application. Purchases will be deducted only from your designated checking account.
