eStatements FAQ

What are eStatements?

 eStatements are a paperless statement available through your NetTeller account.

Will I continue to receive my printed statement in the mail if I sign up for eStatements?

No, once enrolled for eStatements you will no longer receive a printed statement in the mail.

What accounts are eligible to receive eStatements?

eStatements are currently available for checking, savings, and money market accounts.

Is there a cost associated with receiving eStatements?

No, eStatements are FREE to CNB NetTeller clients.

Will my eStatement look the same as my printed statement?

No, your eStatement will not contain thumbnail images of your checks.  However, you may continue to view images of your checks for up to 90 days when reviewing your transaction history and clicking on the check the same as you do now.

Can I have my eStatement notification sent to multiple e-mail addresses?

No, eStatements are sent to only one email address.  Where an account has joint accountholders the eStatement will be sent to the accountholder who signs up for eStatements first.    

Is special software required to view my eStatement online?

Your eStatement may be viewed in one of three different formats: PDF Format, HTML Format or Text Format.  If you selected the PDF format when you enrolled for eStatements you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher to view it. You can download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for free by going to www.adobe.com. You will also have the opportunity to download it when you sign up for eStatements.

Who do I call if I have questions about my eStatement?

If you have any questions concerning your eStatement, please call our NetTeller support at (518) 963-4201, option 1.

What should I do if I do not receive my eStatement?

If you have not received an email notifying you that your statement is available to view online, we may have an outdated email address on file for you. Please go to the OPTIONS tab in NetTeller, check your email address and update it if necessary.  If your email address is correct, please call our NetTeller support at (518) 963-4201, option 1.

How secure are eStatements? 

We have extremely high standards to guarantee the security of your banking information online.  To view your eStatement you must sign in to your NetTeller account.  To use NetTeller, your Internet browser must allow access to secure sites and support 128-bit encryption.  Your banking information never travels the Internet without encrypted protection.  Log-in sessions have a time-out limit and after the limit is reached you are required to log-in again.  Password guessing is deterred and reported.

How do I sign up for eStatements?

To sign up for eStatements, log on to NetTeller, select the eStatement. Confirm your email address and select the accounts you want for eStatement delivery.  A short time later you will receive a confirmation email.  Please click on the link within the confirmation email to confirm your enrollment.  Your eStatement is not enabled until you  confirm your enrollment. 

What if I sign up for eStatements and then decide I would like to receive paper statements again?

To turn off the eStatement function you would need to log on to your NetTeller account, select the eStatements tab and unclick the checkmark (√) next to the account that you no longer wish to receive eStatements on.

How do I change the e-mail address to which my eStatement notifications are sent?

At any time you can return to Options tab.  Here you can update the email address to which your eStatements are being sent. 

After I sign up, when can I expect to receive my first eStatement?

You will begin to receive eStatements and stop receiving paper statements with your next statement cycle.

How long will my eStatement be available to view online?

Your eStatement will be available for you to view online for 90 days.
